A bit more about me...

For 8 years I was a Creative Producer at the London-based agency Bruce Dunlop & Associates, writing and producing work in every category of video communications.

 

As lead creative, I worked closely with a wide range of businesses to write and produce both short and long form content, refine briefs, and ensure that all work was strategically targeted to have maximum impact on its audience.

 

Since leaving BDA in 2013, I’ve been able to concentrate solely on writing.

 

I love what I do, and I take a lot of pride in being able to write for any audience. I can craft unique, creative and compelling responses to project briefs, ensuring that the key messages are powerfully delivered within an original framework.  I particularly enjoy turning complex content into clear, accessible and memorable communications.

Away from work, I'm film obsessed, buy too many books, and while I've only ever written one song, David Hasselhoff sang it.

Oh, and I also write children's books. For this, I'm represented by Rachel Petty at The Blair Partnership.

*Update: this is no longer true. I've written a song about how Die Hard is a Christmas movie now too.

This is me being writerly.

​Yeah. I know what you're thinking.

 

You're thinking "Hey - that guy sure looks like he knows how to write!"

 

"...but why's he doing it on some old typewriter?"

 

"A typewriter that doesn't even have paper in it?"

 

"...and is that a pipe? Because it looks to me like a novelty pen shaped to LOOK like a pipe! Man, I have so many questions right now...."
